Imagine: a number of songwriters - from established names to emerging talent - dive into the rehearsal room together for a day. They bring their own songs, which grow into surprising new versions during an intensive jam session. The result of that musical cross-pollination? A unique concert that buzzes with energy, inspiration, and chemistry.
In 2019, Laura Cortese and Cleo Janse Bright Lights Sessions founded in Ghent. A concert series that brings together artists from pop, rock, folk, and indie in a creative pressure cooker. Since then, more than 100 musicians - from Meskerem Mees and Frank Vander linden to BLUAI and Ão - have met each other in some 35 editions.
For the first time, Laura, Cleo, and their special guests are now venturing outside the Ghent city limits for an evening full of warm encounters and musical magic on one of the darkest days of the year.
