During this special film evening, we return to life in the Maasgehucht Mazenhoven around 1920. The film, made in 1978, authentically shows the daily life of the residents, in which the Meuse played a central role. We see how people worked, did laundry at the river, and lived in a close-knit community. The images form a valuable historical document that brings a vanished piece of Maasland history back to life. For older visitors, it is a feast of recognition, while younger generations discover how their ancestors lived.
After the screening, there is room to share memories and stories with each other. A warm evening full of nostalgia, heritage, and connection with the Maasland.
