Visit Veilinghuis Bernaerts

In collaboration with Vief Kapellen, we are visiting Veilinghuis Bernaerts in Antwerp. The visit starts with a short welcome, followed by a presentation by director and auctioneer Peter Bernaerts in the auction hall. (The auction hall is actually an old cinema hall, this building was formerly Cinema Tokio) In this presentation, it is explained how an auction house works. A look behind the scenes of the auctioneer, experts, the logistics and administrative team, photo studio, etc. Subsequently, Mr. Bernaerts takes us along some of the most interesting pieces at the expo. This visit is concluded with a drink (cava or fruit juice).
