KUUB breaks out: Koala Disco

The KUUB organizes a series of free concerts on location in summer bar Panorama. Koala Disco is a four-piece band that cannot be placed in one box. They draw from a wealth of influences and weave the energy of post-punk, the idiosyncratic charm of the new wave of the 80s, and the wild experimentalism of progressive rock. Their music is reminiscent of bands like Talking Heads, DEVO, and The B-52’s, while they integrate the groundbreaking mentality of Frank Zappa and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. Despite their tendency to mix genres, one thing remains constant: Koala Disco thrives on unpredictability. Their sound is energetic, explosive, and not afraid to take risks.
