Visit to the sugar refinery and Sikh temple

We first visit the sugar refinery of Tienen. A major established name, during the 1.5-hour visit we receive an explanation of the process from beet to sugar. Subsequently, we visit the largest Sikh temple of the Benelux located in Sint-Truiden. This impressive temple opened in 2021. A guide takes us along on a tour here. We conclude with a warm meal.
