TAPIES - the tapir - borrows its method from the Japanese practice of Chindogu: inventing paradoxical tools to solve everyday problems but whose use generates other senseless problems. Through tricks and improvised effects, TAPIES twists and hollows out the stakes of the spectacular to better play with codes and conventions, and rave figures and numbers.
