De Azerbeidzjaans-German violinist, conductor, and composer Anar Bramo grew up in a musical family in Baku. After his training at the Muziekacademie van Bakoe, he perfected himself in Germany and Austria.
Since 2010, Anar has been assistant concertmaster at the Südwestfalen Philharmonic Orchestra, a position he combines with a successful international solo career. His collaboration with the world-famous violinist Gidon Kremer gave his career extra luster.
Anar also makes an impression as a conductor. In 2021 he became chief conductor of the Attendorn Kamerorkest and his recent awards speak volumes: in 2023 he became laureate of the BMI Bucharest Conducting Competition, followed by the 1st Prize Award at the Cascais & Oeiras International Competition of Orchestra Conducting in 2024.
Next to him stands the German-Ukrainian pianist Anna Victoria Tyshayeva, praised for her imagination, technical finesse, and deep musical sensitivity. She was supported by, among others, the Yehudi Menuhin Stiftung Live Music Now and won several international prizes, including at the Aleksander Skrjabin competition in Paris and the Da Ponte Foundation.
Anna was born in Odessa and followed her training with Nikolaj Kryzhanovsky, Irina Edelstein and Wolfgang Manz. In her playing, she always searches for what she calls the ‘inner meaning’ of music: that inexpressible essence that says more in a few notes than words ever could.
Together, Anar Bramo and Anna Victoria Tyshayeva form a duo that couples virtuosity with depth — a meeting of two exceptional musical souls.
