Ensemble F:e-m@il & Floris and the Flames Benefit Concert Music Maestro

On Sunday, September 20, 2026, you can enjoy a dazzling performance by Vocaal Ensemble F:e-m@il and the Belgian band Floris and the Flames. Let's introduce both of these: F:e-m@il is a contemporary vocal ensemble consisting of about 40 female voices conducted by Nadia Loenders and accompanied on piano by Frans Schockaert. The repertoire of this group is very diverse: they perform pieces by Vivaldi, Mendelssohn, Bach, and Mozart, but young classical composers such as Arnesen, Quartel, and Esenvalds of Ola Gjeilo can also captivate them. The same applies to the performances these ladies take on. These are very varied in nature, sometimes with their own group, sometimes in smaller ensembles, and other times with musicians or an orchestra. Floris and the Flames are four red-headed musicians with a violinist as the frontman. This fiery foursome brings a mix of virtuoso classical, danceable folk, and flaming rock. From Van Bach to The Beatles, from Stairway to Heaven to Highway to Hell: a musical rollercoaster in which classical masterpieces and original compositions shimmer with energy and playing pleasure. Violist Floris Willem is classically trained in Vienna. He is flanked by Gert Peeten on piano and guitar, Dries Peeten on bass guitar, and Simon Schrooten on drums and electronics.
