THE LAST VIKING (Le dernier Viking) by Anders Thomas Jensen (Denmark/Sweden 2025) with Mads Mikkelsen  Après. After fifteen years in prison following a bank robbery, Anker is finally released and looks forward to reuniting with his family, especially his brother Manfred, whom he had entrusted with the task of carefully hiding his loot until his return. Manfred is therefore the only one who knows the location of the stolen money. Unfortunately, traumatized by the events, he seems to have lost his memory and remembers nothing. His only concern, believing himself to be John Lennon, is to form a musical group. Anker will have to be patient, as trying to help him recover his memory will prove to be a long-term endeavor. It is an opportunity for the two brothers to get to know each other again, to confront their past, and to reconnect. A long journey filled with encounters, crises, funny situations, and emotion.
