A picture of a man is a cheerful comedy in which a rich, art-loving baroness impatiently looks forward to the delivery of a life-sized statue of Saint Claus. A.k.a the brother of the Heilige Sint Martinus van Lede.
When the statue arrives, however, not everything goes according to plan. Through a series of misunderstandings, clumsiness, and unexpected events, the staff and the new housekeepers get involved in an increasingly absurd situation. While family members, servants, and curious people interfere with the matter, the comic complications pile up. The result is a lighthearted farce full of humor, surprises, and hilarious misunderstandings.
