Dance shards – Two journeys to read dance

Thu, 17 Sept 2026 · 19:00
Charleroi danse / La Raffinerie, Brussels
The evening will consist of a performed presentation of Ondine Cloez, a danced lecture by Massinda Zinga, followed by a moment of meeting between the authors and Florence Corin for Éditions Contredanse. In her work Été pourri, recherche sur la pluie dans le Brabant wallon, Ondine Cloez takes us on the traces of her research, knowledge incorporated over the course of the water where words document as much as they inspire. Massinda Zinga, for her part, transmits in Danser la résistance : Corps afro-caribéens et mémoire vivante, the richness of Afro-Caribbean dances and their influence on current dances. This evening will celebrate the launch of the Collection éclats intended to promote research in dance and the dissemination of knowledge from the choreographic field in Fédération Wallonie-Brussels. These two research projects from the Collection éclats contribute to the development of resources and the sharing of thoughts rooted in the practice and cultures of dance.
