Carrot Mash Against Poverty

In October, the 22 Brussels community centers join forces for a warm city where everyone can participate. With a hearty Patat Tegen Armoede we make poverty visible, bring people together, and raise money for the 8 Brussels organizations that work daily with people in poverty. Ook Essegem and Taverne Ter Linden take a stand against poverty. Today we serve carrot stoemp with sausage. With the proceeds we support 8 Brusselse Verenigingen Waar Armen the Woord Nemen (VWAWN), united in the Brussels Platform Armoede: ARA vzw, Bij Ons / Chez Nous, De Buurtwinkel, Pigment, Bonnevie, Vrienden van het Huizeke, De Schakel and DoucheFLUX.
