Heritage Day: Flemish romanticism - Air4Six

Flemish and romantic without a beard or monocle What is rarely heard touches the deepest. Air4Six reopens a forgotten chapter: intimate a cappella ensemble music by Flemish composers from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Six parts spin intense, gossamer-thin textures in works by Benoit, Meulemans, De Vocht, De Boeck, Mortelmans, and Tinel that span a wide spectrum of styles and emotions. With this free heritage concert, we honor a beautiful Bijloke tradition and champion sounding heritage from our own soil – hooray for us!
