Alex de Leeuw is the king of the urban jungle: the zoo of Central Parc. Together with his faithful friends Marty de Zebra, Melman de Giraf, and Gloria the Hippo, he leads a carefree life there. Maar Marty wants to discover the wide world and escapes from the zoo with the help of a bunch of penguins.
