Why do you feel at home somewhere? Or not at all? And what if you want everything to remain as it is? With 'De Blijvers', cie Tartaren brings stories about the feeling of home, loss, and longing outside, onto the street. Palestinian storytellers and Tartaren with a refugee background share personal stories and actions in different settings. The audience walks along from place to place and gets close to what usually remains indoors. The performance is created in collaboration with Palestinian storytellers, Theatre Day Productions Gaza, and Tartaren. About the company Cie Tartaren is a socio-artistic theater workshop in Leuven and Genk. Together with professional creators, they create theater in co-creation, in which a strong artistic vision and lived-in content come together. Through its work, cie Tartaren builds a sustainable place for participatory art. The company wants to create space for voices that are heard too little, show different perspectives within artistic creations, and strengthen the accessibility of art for everyone. More info
