Jan Jaap van der Wal has meanwhile been living in Flanders for 10 years. Officially, he still calls himself ‘Fleming in training’, but meanwhile, he has become indispensable in our theaters and on television. In his new performance, he celebrates those 10 years with his biggest show to date. With his well-known sharp gaze, he fillets our small and large habits, from politics to shrimp croquettes. Jan Jaap van der Wal has been a comedian for almost 30 years and has made four full-evening shows in Flanders since 2015, including the acclaimed election conference Geen Stem. On television, he made a splash as a jury member of De Slimste Mens ter Wereld and as a presenter of De Ideale Wereld and Jan Jaap on Sunday.
