The former boarding school Sint-Angela Engelenburcht was once a renowned institute where thousands of girls received an education. In 1914, however, it received unexpected guests: the German General von Beseler established his headquarters there during the siege of Antwerp. Today, the monastery is a fascinating experience center, where personal stories take you to the life and challenges of a hundred years ago. A unique experience that brings history to life!
