Early bird price 16 euros Het Vanessa Matthys Quartet is the acoustic jazz formation around the charismatic Belgian jazz singer Vanessa Matthys. Met Dominique Vantomme (piano), Werner Lauscher (bass), and Geert Roelofs (drums), she forms an international quartet in which the voice is central in a way that is unique in Belgium. Their music balances between intimate storytelling, lyrical melodies, and virtuoso improvisation. The roots lie in traditional jazz, but the tentacles reach towards E.S.T., Gretchen Parlato, and Kurt Elling. In May 2026, their latest album The Secret Vault appeared, in which contemporary jazz, traditionals, and timeless pop classics are given their own elegant jazzy outfit. A concert where pure stories and rich emotions form the common thread: subdued and refined, but equally powerful and boisterous.
