Theater walk 'In Memoriam: 100 years of Paster Pype' - Stadsmuseum Oostende

We celebrate the life of Paster Pype in the City Museum! One hundred years ago, Paster Pype passed away, the priest who became known in Ostend as the ‘father of the fishermen’. From 1886, when he became assistant priest of the Sint-Petrus-en-Pauluskerk, he dedicated himself heart and soul to the hard life of the Ostend fishermen. As the first chaplain at sea, he grew into a beloved and trusted figure within the fishing community. On Saturday, June 27 , we bring his life story back to life during a series of theater walks in the various rooms of the museum . The walks last about half an hour and take place at 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, 13:00, 14:15, 15:15, 16:15 and 17:15 . There is room for 15 people per walk.
