Picnic Music #1 - Peddlin' Pete Peddlin' Pete is the solo project of singer-guitarist Piet Vercauteren. Packed with just an acoustic guitar, his voice, and a stompbox, he takes his audience on a journey through the world of traditional blues and ragtime. Along the way, Pete occasionally touches on other genres such as rock 'n' roll, bluegrass, funk, hard rock, and even disco. At the beginning of this year, Piet represented our country at The International Blues Challenge in Memphis Tennessee. Raw and straight from the gut, humorously delivered, at times engaging, and aiming for your dancing legs. That is how you briefly summarize the experience of this one-man band.
