Fête de la Musique - ETMO

Sat, 20 Jun 2026 · 20:00
Tram{e}, Brussels
On stage, he stacks sound layers like one superimposes filters. Like a musical Lego game built with sound bricks: powerful saxophones, electro rhythms, DIY percussion, object noises, voices in French and English. It grooves, it floats, it stirs. Born in the south of France, he has traveled quite a bit without ever forgetting his favorite instrument, the saxophone that accompanies him everywhere. His musical project was born in London at the end of the last century and is improving today in Brussels: two cosmopolitan cities that aggregate the sounds of the world. During all these years, ETMO has hauled his machines and saxophones in France, England, Belgium, and Taiwan. Sometimes alone in the middle of his instruments, sometimes surrounded by guests (percussionists, pianists, saxophonists), he creates real soundscapes: we close our eyes, we go from a techno club to a distant shore, from a whispered text to a ghost big band. His tracks look like stories: few words, but images full of the head, like a soundtrack for a film that everyone invents for themselves. Live, ETMO is an endearing UFO: an unclassifiable musician, between jazz, electro, and trance, who fills the stage without overdoing it, captures the audience in a colorful and intimate bubble, then releases it gently. A concert that makes you travel with words and that above all makes you want to come back. Want to know more about Tram{e}: trame.brussels/
