Caregiver gathering: caregiving for people with cancer

The 'Voice of the Caregiver' working group of Eerstelijnszone Baldemore vzw is once again organizing 4 meetings for caregivers this year. These meetings take place alternately in the various municipalities of our primary care zone and are therefore accessible to everyone, regardless of which municipality you live in. The 2nd meeting has the theme: caregiving for people with cancer. The fact that someone you care about has cancer also affects you as a loved one. You may be afraid, sad, and uncertain. You may feel powerless, tossed back and forth between hope and grief. The partnership of Mol and surrounding municipalities is focusing broadly on peer support. Meeting, unburdening, and relaxing are important not only for the patient but also for caregivers. Knowing that you are not alone helps. Lieke Stouthard, member of the Mols Comité Kom against Cancer – LotinCo will provide an explanation. Afterwards, we will chat over coffee, tea, and homemade cake.
