Moss & Freud

Terwijl Kate Moss at the peak of her fame as a supermodel in the early 2000s, she agrees to pose for the idiosyncratic artist Lucian Freud, widely considered one of the greatest painters of the twentieth century. The many posing sessions offer peace and discipline in Moss's hectic life. A special friendship develops between the two, based on connection, love, and mutual respect. Freud's inquisitive and observant style managed to expose the vulnerability behind Moss's public image. Ironically, both Moss and Freud were not really satisfied with the final portrait, which was only completed in 2002. The art world, however, reacted enthusiastically.
