Every season, the Biekorfplein gets a name. Not an official renaming, but a temporary gesture that connects an artist to this place and to the city that flows through it. In 2026–2027, the square bears the name of David Galle.
As artist-in-residence, he emphatically chooses the position of observer.
Throughout the season, he collects video portraits of people who shape the city. His path is not fixed, but arises from encounters, conversations, and chance crossings.
The images are brought together in a time capsule, intended for a distant future.
