Leni Riefenstahl is the most notorious Nazi propaganda maker under the regime of Adolf Hitler. Riefenstahl was hugely popular with Hitler and other leaders of Nazism, and made films like 'Triumph des Willens' (Triumph of the Will) and 'Olympia', in which she claimed she wanted to tell a story about beauty, peace, and labor. Yet these films cannot be seen separately from Nazism and the propagandistic message of the party. For more than fifty years, Riefenstahl fought to get rid of this status.
