Hardere Aanpak is a Ghent hip-hop platform curated by J9RR9 & Krapuul. What started in 2019 as a packed try-out party in a far too small, gloomy room, has grown into a recurring concept that effortlessly draws full houses. Meanwhile, more than 50 artists have passed in review — from pure underground voices to established names within the Flemish scene.
In August 2024, Hardere Aanpak and the Ghent organization KAPOW joined forces. From that, the first Hardere Aanpak Mixtape was born. J9RR9 and Krapuul brought together a dozen rappers from all over Flanders to dive into the studio and put down something that went further than loose tracks. In 2026, number two followed.
Hardere Aanpak continues to move. Today they are fully committed to release parties where everything comes together: music, atmosphere, and audience. At the same time, new drops and collaborations are being built behind the scenes — always with the same drive as in the beginning.
The mission remains simple: make room for talent and push the scene forward, in Ghent and far beyond. More music, more connections, more places where this can grow as it should.
New mixtapes are coming, for sure. And on October 30, they are bringing together a strong line-up in De Centrale, with rappers from every corner of Flanders and Brussels — each with their own style, but together on one stage that stands.
