Paths of Glory

In 1916, during the Première Guerre World War, French General Broulard orders General Mireau to launch a suicidal offensive against an impregnable German position, nicknamed "The Anthill." At the moment of the attack, soldiers fall by the dozens and their companions, exhausted, refuse to advance.
