Aghogho - AGHOGHO

Warm vocals, deep basslines, and irresistible funky rhythms. With these elements, singer and bassist Aghogho creates a blend of soul, funk, and Afrobeat. Her Nigerian name, Aghogho, means “child of God” and reflects the strong cultural identity that flows through her music and defines her sound. A sound that has been compared to artists like Nilüfer Yanya, Lianne La Havas, and Zap Mama. Following her debut EP “17” and her performance at Sound Track making her an Artist in Residence in Trix, she just finished working on a new EP to be released later this year with Mayway Records.
