Merysse Acoustic Duo – Italian Voice & Guitar

Merysse, the stage name of Italian singer-songwriter and performer Maria Teresa De Pierro, comes to Brussels for an intimate acoustic concert with guitarist Michele Bertasi, her long-standing musical collaborator. At the heart of the performance is Merysse’s voice: ethereal and luminous, with a wide vocal range and a highly expressive, interpretative style. Her voice moves from delicate, intimate colours to moments of powerful intensity, creating a distinctive and emotionally rich live presence. The duo will perform Merysse’s original songs together with a selection of Italian songs, bringing the sound, language and atmosphere of contemporary Italian music to Brussels through a simple and intimate voice-and-guitar arrangement. The repertoire combines original songwriting with carefully chosen Italian songs, offering a live performance that moves between delicacy, intensity and strong melodic expression. Merysse has developed her vocal training over many years and is currently pursuing advanced training with Disney Italia in singing for dubbing. Her music is distributed through Sony Music Publishing, and her artistic activity has also brought her to international contexts, including Brussels and the European Parliament. For one evening, an Italian voice and an acoustic guitar meet in the heart of Brussels.
