LeNoise | A Journey Through the Past (Neil Young)

With ‘A Journey Through the Past’ LeNoise takes you on a musical trip through the past of the Canadian singer-songwriter Neil Young. Special guests are Nathalie Delcroix and Jorunn Bauweraerts van Laïs, and violinist Jeroen Baert, known for his work with, among others, Sun Sun Sun and The Colorist Orchestra. Jeroen also stood on stage with Einstürzende Neubauten, Blixa Bargeld, Howe Gelb, and Emilíana Torrini. With nine musicians on stage, this group draws from the rich oeuvre of Young, with the focus on his subtler work. Expect beautiful versions of classics like ‘Harvest Moon’, ‘Old Man’, and ‘Heart of Gold’ carried by vocal harmony. Not unplugged, but intimate. In addition, forgotten pearls like ‘I Believe in You’, ‘Running Dry (Reqiem for the Rockets)’, and ‘The Old Laughing Lady’ are unearthed - as if you are sitting around the campfire with Neil himself. Since 2017, LeNoise has been traveling through Europe and the Verenigd Koninkrijk: from London to Sneek, from Paris to Copenhagen, from Brussels to Leeds. De Belgische band with Piet De Pessemier, Luc Schreurs, Vital Maesen, Jo Smeets, Davy Jansen, and Frank Saenen is known for its faithful homages to the songs of Neil Young and for special musical collaborations with artists like Frank Vander linden, Patrick Riguelle, Stijn Meuris, Johan Heldenbergh, Sarah Pepels, and many others.
