Two friends. The one is lying sick in bed, with a body that can do less and less. The other comes to visit and cheers things up. Can fantasy heal? In a hospital bed lies a child whose body is working less and less, the muscles are slowly stopping from beating. On the edge of the bed sits a friend with a lunchbox and an unstoppable fantasy. That fantasy takes them to the world on the other side of the bed: a kingdom where everyone can walk, where kissing is not gross and where you can fly with your nostrils. The two friends take the audience on their journey through a self-invented realm. Hilly landscapes of cardboard, blood of cardboard, candlesticks of cardboard, a crown of cardboard: the enchanted land of Derwazeens. Derwazeens is a swanky, playful performance that moves children and adults.
