UNFORGETTABLE - tragi-comedy about Alzheimer's disease - with live music

This theater monologue is by the hand of the Leuven playwright Pol Anrys. The play deals with the theme of dementia, more specifically Alzheimer's disease. Anne Jordens examined the text and made cuts here and there to maintain the (air)iness. As a result, although the essence of the story is preserved, the various facets related to the disease are staged in a subtle way. It became a balancing act between the seriousness of the problem and the mocking humor that you can find in some recognizable situations. Together with the permanent musician Danny Vanroy, the choice of songs was also examined. The selected melodies and lyrics bring a certain depth, but also give the necessary frivolity to the whole. Jos Coomans provided a series of images that help carry the play from the background. Unforgettable, a genuine tragi-comedy!
