Playtime (1967)

Tati steps back into the shoes of his alter ego Mr. Hulot, the clumsy blunderer who struggles with the absurdity of modern society. Mr. Hulot is on his way to Paris, with the address of a certain Mr. Giffard on a crumpled piece of paper. In an office building, he is subsequently led into a glass waiting room/aquarium where he waits (and waits) for his appointment with Giffard. But this meeting never takes place, and in the meantime Hulot gets caught up in a number of adventures, without ever reaching his original appointment...
