Van Peel dissects the spirit of the times with razor-sharp analyses and bone-dry humor
And you? Have you downloaded the app yet? Scanned the QR code? Created an account? Are you updated, actually? Are you with it?
In the cesspool of bullshit, the shit is up to our lips. Reality is overtaking satire at breakneck speed. It is sink or go under. Fortunately, Van Peel dissects the spirit of the times as usual. With laughter and getting up.
'Farce Majeure' is about power and overwhelming force. About the bunglers that we all are. Because don't let anyone fool you. Everyone else is just doing something too.
Michael Van Peel is a stand-up comedian, columnist, Vespa traveler, and self-employed person in main profession. He became known with his year-end conferences 'Van Peel overleeft' which were broadcast on New Year's Eve on Canvas and Radio 1 and with which he toured all over Flanders for ten years. In between, he wrote columns for the Standaard and the Morgen and played almost all stages of the Low Countries; from youth centers and cafes to Lowlands and the Lotto Arena. After 'Welcome to the Rebellion!' and a well-deserved midlife, he is now touring with his latest show 'Farce Majeure'.
