MUSIC MONDAYS @ Café De Gouden Poort Zin in live music this summer? Come every Monday to enjoy powerful acts, different genres and a cozy atmosphere at the Grote Markt in Sint-Niklaas! Monday, August 3: Bleak Bleak is an alternative rock band from Antwerp and the Waasland region, formed in 2017 around frontman and songwriter Jens Leysen (guitar/synths at Black Leather Jacket). Initially, the quartet was mainly inspired by shoegaze, grunge and 90’s rock. After a time of recharging in the studio, a new era has arrived for Bleak. With a new guitarist (Andreas Smet), a new sound and a lot of new material. Through the addition of fresh elements from dreampop, indie and slacker rock, Bleak sounds more refined and layered in 2026. This evolution is clearly audible on the latest single 'Swimming Pool' and therefore also live on August 3 at De Gouden Poort in Sint-Niklaas.
