THEATER – When a team of four scientists and an arrogant robot, after many years, finally arrive on Mars with the task of restarting human civilization, they receive the message from the last bastion on earth that a better alternative has been found in the meantime and their mission has become meaningless. Four stranded individuals must search for their humanity on Mars. When, due to war, warming, rebellious AI, and gender mislabeling, living conditions on earth threaten to become increasingly impossible, it was decided in 2060 to build a settlement-space station on Mars. Four years later, a team of scientists (together with a thousand fertilized egg cells) is sent to Mars to rebuild human civilization from the ground up. However, when (at the start of the play) the four arrive on Mars and wake up from their freezer cell, they receive the message from earth that a better planet has been found in the meantime for the restart of civilization and that their mission is no longer important.
