Traveling is something we all know. Whether it is a trip to the other side of the world, a weekend in a neighboring country, or for the first time with a backpack to daycare: we go on a trip a little bit every day. Often with a lot of desire and joy, but sometimes also with awkwardness, fear, or homesickness. Battoe is a performance about coming home in an ever-changing world. Two artists of De Spiegel leave their familiar cocoon behind and go on a trip together. On a wooden musical raft with all kinds of hidden sounds, they cross borders and travel through a sea of different emotions.
