Chaud Boulette returns to Brussels on June 7, 2026 for its third edition, and this year, you’re not just a spectator, you’re part of the jury. To be part of the public jury, you must buy your ticket the day of the competition. Doors open at 11:00, be sure to be there early as tickets often go fast! Schedule: 11:00 - ticket sales 11:30 - Ceremony at Manneken Pis 12:30 - Cortège departure towards Les Brasseurs, via Grande Place 13:00 - Fanfare du Meyboom will play at Les Brasseurs 14:00 - Contest begins 17:00 - Prize ceremony For one afternoon, some of the city’s best butchers and charcutiers come together to defend their craft with their own version of a true Belgian classic: the boulette. The day begins with a nod to Brussels folklore, as Manneken Pis is dressed for the occasion thanks to the collaboration with the Guild des Bouchers de Bruxelles. From there, the atmosphere builds at the Bourse, with the arrival of the Fanfare du Meyboom and a lively, convivial crowd. As a member of the public jury, you’ll take part in a guided tasting of the competing boulettes and cast your vote. It’s a unique opportunity to experience the diversity of local craftsmanship in one place, in a relaxed and festive setting right in the heart of the city. AND as a special treat this year, members of the public jury (this means YOU!) will receive a "goodie bag" filled with amazing products from local food and drink producers and artisans from Brussels. Whether you’re a food lover, a curious local, or simply looking for a truly Brussels kind of day out, Chaud Boulette brings people together around something simple, generous, and deeply rooted in the city’s culture.
