For centuries, people have been telling stories to understand the world, not to forget what is important, and to pass on life lessons. 'Amadou' is a tribute to the art of storytelling and the enchanting music that accompanies it. Actrice Aminata Demba steps into the skin of a child full of questions. Her search for answers becomes an adventure with wondrous encounters: a stressed-out hippo, an itchy elephant, a goat in love, and an unreliable crow. In this way, she also discovers herself. 'Amadou' was selected for the 2025 Theater Festival. The jury wrote: “Amadou is storytelling theater at its best, supported by beautiful live music that completely takes you along on the main character's journey.”
