After spelling, Jerôme Piron and Arnaud Hoedt tackle school and foment once again a joyful little revolution. Kevin, created in 2023 in Brussels, apparently hasn't finished charming the public. With the same energy that characterized La Convivialité, the duo of ex-teachers of French and religion succeeds in making us passionate about subjects that one might think arduous, while stimulating our critical spirit. This time, it is Kevin that they are burning to talk to us about. Between school and Kevin, it didn't really work out. For them – and all the researchers interviewed – it is the school system that is in failure, and not Kevin. By thwarting all the clichés, the show brilliantly popularizes the sociological and pedagogical reasons for which school does not meet its promise of equality. With a naturalness and a disarming sympathy, Arnaud and Jérôme deploy complex sociological concepts in a playful, argued, and very convincing way. What if we made the collective effort to thwart our preconceived ideas, by accepting to be a little shaken up?
