The lyrics are more or less literal translations of the originals, which capture the authentic hard and marginal character well. The theme par excellence is the world of the ‘mangas’, the tenacious musicians and proud hashish smokers of Athens and Piraeus. Always well-smoked lyrics, sometimes adapted to modern times, sometimes boorish, sometimes tender, but humor is mandatory.
