Ravelín is an atmosphere creator: the warm voice of the singer, the sparkling violin, the subtle guitar playing, the polyphonic singing. Ravelín brings a unique and varied repertoire in many different languages, yet recognizable and accessible. From chanson to Irish folk, from tango to klezmer, Ravelín brings every song purely and subtly and knows how to touch the listener in the heart.
In 'La vida es bella', Ravelín sings about the ups and downs of life in a nostalgic and melancholic journey through Europe. And even though there is much suffering in the world, Ravelín creates an atmosphere in which the audience may forget that for a moment. La vida es bella: life is beautiful, despite everything.
Ravelín consists of:
Anita Verdonk – vocals
Josien Mennen – double bass, vocals, guitar, melodica, accordion
Inge Stallinga-Gorissen – violin, vocals, accordion

The band members have a lot of experience; they played with, among others, the Sanseveria’s, the André Rieu Orkest, Gé Reinders and many others.
