There is more than 600 years between the life of Johann Sebastian Bach and Omar Khayyam, yet these two geniuses seem destined for each other. Both unite mastery in mathematics with a spiritual worldview. Constantinople brings these two artists into conversation with each other. Arrangements of some of the most captivating arias by Bach are alternated with poems by Omar Khayyam, which are sung in Persian, as an answer to Bach's music.
