SummerSunday: The Weary Kind + A Murder In Mississippi

During this 43rd edition of the Summer Sundays, we are once again presenting four consecutive Sundays of free open-air concerts on the Krankhoeve estate!\n\nFrom 4 PM every Sunday, you can enjoy a snack & drink on the terrace in collaboration with several local associations. In the evening, we always provide atmospheric concerts under the butterfly sail.\n\nIn the meantime, children can let off steam in the playgrounds & the play forest of the beautiful estate, and we also provide some traditional games on the lawn.\n\nContinuous terrace with snacks & drinks – from 4 PM.\nin collaboration with Toneelvrienden Bonheiden-Rijmenam & Daar-Events vzw\n\nTHE WEARY KIND COMPANY (duo) – 7:30 PM.\nThis musician couple navigates between americana, folk, and catchy pop-with-an-edge, characterized by enchanting harmonies and narrative lyrics. On stage, they create a surprisingly full sound thanks to an inventive set-up with two loop stations, with which they build their songs in layers.\n\nA MURDER IN MISSISSIPPI – 9 PM.\nThis 6-piece band from Ghent brings their own mix of americana, bluegrass, folk & country, where blues & gospel are also not far away. With their immersive and original roots music, they take you on a musical journey and provide ‘instant feelgood’. They were already at festivals like Dranouter, Na Fir Bolg & Gentse Feesten last year and were also the support act for Sam Bettens.
