Lux natalis - Vlaams Radiokoor conducted by Peter Dijkstra

As an advent program in the Quinten en kwarten series, the traditional Christmas concert of the Vlaams Radiokoor is scheduled for this year. The devotional power of Anton Bruckner immediately sets the tone with a world full of deep spiritual power, which seamlessly transforms into the clear, festive polyphony of Johannes Eccard. The dreamy arrangement that Jan Sandström made of the old classic Es ist ein Ros entsprungen marks the transition to the refined French colors of Francis Poulenc and the contemporary voices of Gabriel Jacksons and Morten Lauridsen. As a finale, a tender and timeless Silent Night provides the ultimate Christmas experience.
