Many still remember the fantastic duo concert of Jef Neve with the Dutch trumpeter Teus Nobel. Anyone who was there then will not want to miss this concert for anything! Met Child’s Play presents Edison winner Teus Nobel’s eleventh album - and his most personal to date. The music was created in a period in which the family was confronted with a serious illness. While resilience and pragmatism were mainly required at home, Nobel found musical inspiration in the play of his children: free, unpredictable and full of imagination. That energy resonates in the compositions, in which there is a great deal of room for spontaneity and ‘controlled chaos’. On In de Singer, Nobel can be heard with guitarist Jerome Hol, bassist Jasper Høiby and drummer Niek de Bruijn.
