DAAN - Crooner

For 30 years, Daan has been surprising his audience with a whirlwind of genres: from pop noire to indie rock, from electro to country, beats, and ballads. Often in English, sometimes in the Frans of Nederlands, but always recognizable by melancholic and humorous lyrics full of visual metaphors – not surprising, because Daan is also a graphic designer. His songs unfold like almost baroque musical paintings. In this theater tour, he brings his repertoire together with Isolde Lasoen on vibraphone, drums, trumpet, and angel vocals, and Jean-François Assy on atypical cello. Intimate halls make it possible to get closer to the audience and share the stories behind his mysterious lyrics. In addition to his own repertoire of more than 300 songs, Daan also interprets his favorite covers, original and personal. Every evening is unique, a theatrical cabaret full of emotion, ecstasy, and musical virtuosity.
