Night (8+) - Mayo (Mats Vandroogenbroeck & Jonas Baeke) / DE MAAN

Sooner or later, the monster of the night visits everyone. The monster of the night has many, many names. Sometimes it can stand silently by your bed. But very often it just cannot stop talking. And when the sun comes up, it is gone again. But what happens if we say 'hello' to the monster? If we start talking to it? Are we still alone then? Are we still afraid then? Nacht is the third collaboration between Mats and Jonas for young audiences. Their previous performances Bambiraptor (Krokusfestival, 2020) and Infinity Forever were both selected for the Flemish TheaterFestival. Over Bambiraptor wrote reviewer Tuur Devens: “The performance is sparkling in language and image, in the tight rhythm between movement and pausing to reflect on things. (…) Long live the magic of fantasy!” Voor Nacht they use puppets and figures from the fantastic studio of DE MAAN.
