Three-day (re)opening music club Het Veerhuis

After 4 years, the well-known jazz club Het Veerhuis in Klein-Willebroek is reopening its doors as a music club and culture house. This is accompanied by three days of music.\n\nFriday evening, September 4: at 8:30 PM we invite you to attend the intimate concert by Lady Linn, still very much one of the leading ladies of Belgian jazz and immediately a big name indeed.\n\nSaturday, September 5 features the first edition of the mini-festival we named Little Pants of Desire, the literal translation of Klein-Willebroek :-). We start with a New Orleans Second Line Parade departing from the Grote Markt in Boom (where the village fair is taking place) and walk through the streets of Boom towards the ferry. In this way, we make the crossing that the Fondy's made 55 years ago and we also provide atmosphere and entertainment for the fair. Arrival at Veerhuis is scheduled around 2:30 PM. Followed by a performance on an outdoor stage by Marching Band and the Willebroek B's Buskers, The Blowfield Kings (blues), and the party band Star Flavour.\n\nSunday, September 6, the Fondy Riverside Bullet Band plays a matinee performance at 2:30 PM.\n\nAttention: tickets are required for the concert by Lady Linn on Friday and the Fondy Riverside Bullet Band on Sunday via www.tveerhuis.be\n\nAlso check out the rest of the autumn program featuring stand-up comedy, music, and theater.
