Vlamousse, consisting of Maya van As and Brigitte van Bakel, knows like no other how to make major social themes personal and relatable in a hilarious way. In 2019, they won the student jury prize at the Leids Cabaret Festival, shone in 2022 as finalists in the BNNVARA program 'Ik ga stuk', and garnered the 'Critic's Choice' label at the Theaterkrant with their second show 'In den Beginne'. In their third show 'Het goede voorbeeld' (The Good Example), awarded 4 stars in TROUW, they, as young mothers, mercilessly honestly and hilariously wipe the floor with every romanticized example of motherhood that we have collectively had.
